Backstage is a modular enterprise operations platform for organizations where people, permissions, and assets get genuinely complex. We built it for that from the ground up — not by stretching something simpler.
It is for any organization where structure, access, and assets are hard to keep straight. Scheduling, personnel records, document flow, resource management, and role-based access across every module — without patching spreadsheets together or chasing people for updates.
The platform is entering production with a major Croatian cultural institution. That deployment is one example of layered operations, not the limit of who it is for.
At the center is Maestro: an Anthropic-powered AI agent wired to the whole platform. It follows what is happening across the organization and brings the right information to the right person, with notifications routed by role and by what each person needs to act on.
